Life: June 2008

I had a choice on either going to Myrtle beach for my senior week or going to Tennessee for four days for the CMA Festival. Of course I thought about it being it was MY senior year to go and be with all my friends but... I definitely wanted to see Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Josh Turner, Faith Hill, James Otto, Randy Travis, Rodney Adkins, Trace Adkins, Miranda Lambert, Tracy Byrd, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Alan Jackson, and more!!! My sister was not sure on going or not because we did not have any tickets or a hotel so we finally just said lets go and see what happens! So we traveled 5 hours and as we were getting closer to nashville the time changed back an hour which made us both feel a little happy because some of the concerts were starting at four and we had so much to do before then! When we got there we went to see if we could get tickets which thank God we were able to!! After that, we traveled away from down town nashville to try and find a hotel. About 5 minutes away we saw Motel 6. So we both laughed and said whatever... lets go and see if we can get a room for five nights which we were able to. It was only 250 for two people for five nights which is very good being it was not far from down town and it had hooters, mexican resturant, jack in the box, burger king and a WALMART right near it!!! We decided to stay until monday because we would get in late sunday night and did not want to drive on the roads at night!! After getting our stuff in our hotel room we headed back down to Nashville to see Danielle Peck, Andy Griggs and couple of other people in concert. After those concerts we headed over to the LP field for the nightly concerts which was AMAZING!!!! We got back to the hotel every night around 12ish and up every morning at 8. After the five days of fun and exploring down town Nashville... on monday before leaving we decided to go find the MALL!!! We found it as well as the Grand Ole Opry House and Opryland Hotel!!! While we were at the mall before exploring the other things.. we were walking around and i saw glow in the dark putt putt... i definitely made my sister play with me... its something that i have never done before and now i can say that i did it but i unfortunately lost to my sister. it was so cool!!! after hours in the mall we left and headed over to the hotel. Our friends that we made during the days of being there told us that they went the other day and that you could go inside and look around so we both were very excited to go! Entering the huge doors of the hotel.. i was so excited to see everything in it!! We walked in and my mouth dropped to the floor.. i've never seen anything like it before in my life!!! It is the biggest thing EVER! It had so many shops, restaurants, a BOAT RIDE, escalators, 3 waterfalls, and so much more stuff!!! We were so excited that we were going to ride in a BOAT around the HOTEL!!! It truly was amazing!!! Jessica and I did not planned to stay in there for that long but 3 hours went by real fast!!! After that we went to the Grand Ole Opry House and there was a show going on that night. We did not know that you had to have tickets just to get in the gate and the guy was talking so we just walked by and got a picture then walked out!! =) - after that we were going to attempt to leave tennessee and head home until i saw the wax museum and cooters. of course we had to stop and see those before leaving!!

Nashville

=) they had ESCALATORS in a HOTEL ( those are some lazy ppl!) this is a lady looking like a vine on stilts which she walks around in the hotel and people don't realize that its real. some crazy stuff!!
