I Finally Updated!!!

This past weekend consisted of LOADS of FUN!! Friday my family decided they would come with my sister and I to Spring Fling at down town Spartanburg for a little bit before the concert that we wanted to go see. The concert started at 9 so we had plenty of time to kill! After leaving spring fling jessica and i went to barnett park to see Ferras in concert. When we got there we both figured it would be pretty crowded because last year was packed but it definitely was NOT crowded. We both were very disappointed being we just paid 15 dollars to see a guy in concert who only has one song on the radio so we tried to stay positive and hoped that him and his band would be good in concert. Finally 9 'o clock rolls around and he comes out and walks up to the piano.. so we both looked at each other and was like where is his band.. umm, he definitely is a solo singer without a band which was very strange. Throughout the whole night jessica and i were cracking jokes about everything so that was entertaining. Everyone who wanted to was able to stand up at the stage because well there was hardly no one there. After the show, EVERYONE was able to take pictures and meet him!! After that we went home to get some rest for our big day Saturday!

Saturday was the Reedy River Duck Derby!! Its at Greenville right near the Greenville Drive Stadium!! You adopt a duck for the race and they will give you a number and if your duck finishs the race and goes thru this tube then you win a prize. My sister and I picked up Carson so he could join us with all the fun!! He LOVED it!! When we got there I adopted a duck for him and Jessica adopted one for ethan. We unfortunately did not win and Carson did not understand why he could not take a duck home or why he did not win so I had to explain it to him. I was shocked that they did not have as much stuff as I thought they would but it was still fun. Carson LOVED taking pictures with the ducks that were walking around as well as throwing rocks in the river, playing with the puppets, having stick races, and playing all the games. I took him on the bridge right before the race started so he could see the whole race. There was 295 ducks that were in the race!!

We decided to take Carson to Spring Fling to ride rides.. he suckered me into letting him make a bear which every time we go somewhere he wants to make one and of course he did his sweet little voice that he knows its hard for me to say no to. At first when I told him that he could make one he told me he was going to make it for his mommy so she will have something to play with in the hospital and i told him that was very nice of him to do that. Few seconds after making his bear for his mommy he told me that he was going to play with it first and i told him i thought you were going to give it to your mommy and he said well trish im going to play with it first then i'm going to SHARE it with her!! I just LOVE him to pieces!! He literally had my sister and I busting out laughing through out the whole day!! I got him a batman inflatable thing which I had to carry throughout the day which I did get cracked on by a lady which was okay because i just laughed right along! haha. =) - He behaved extremely well so we took him to his favorite place to eat... " With a B and a K... BURGER KING!" before taking him home! =)

After taking him home.. I stayed the night with Heather at the hospital. Her laying in the hospital bed was definitely NOT going to stop us from laughing and having fun like we normally do!!! We read her lovely cards and that sure did make her in a great mood. The kids are so *creative!!* hahah ;-) - It was really good to be able to talk to her and have a regular conversation and her remember it the next day! :) - She is doing GREAT! Her bruises are healing and she is pushing herself to get a normal life again which she will.. just going to take time but i know she will pull through this!! She is currently out of Regional as of today and is at Mary Black for Therapy which is awesome!! Continue to pray for her and her family!!! :) - Stay strong Heather... If you need me I telling you JUST CALL ME at * * * - * * * * !! If you are feeling bad... JUST CALL ME!!! - hehe. I LOVE YOU HEATHER!! ( hope the end made you laugh but not too much for you to call the nurses! hehe ;-)
